Dhalya and Vanessa have a combined 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. They met in 2019 and had an instant connection that eventually led them to co-create Only Daughters.

Raised in Texas as the only daughter among two brothers, Vanessa developed a strong sense of independence early on. With a passion for art from a young age, she pursued design professionally, earning a degree on the East Coast before moving to Los Angeles.

Dhalya, raised alongside her two younger brothers, developed a love for creativity early on. She moved to Los Angeles at 18, where she pursued her passion for fashion design, studying it through both high school and college.

While continuing to design for a range of established brands. Dhalya and Vanessa have been quietly and intentionally building their own label, Only Daughters — a reflection of their shared vision, shaped by years of experience and late nights spent growing something of their own.
